Retired teacher, taught High School biology and marine biology.
Was NASA Teacher in Space finalist, trained for STS-51 flight but fortunately did not get chosen.
Member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators specializing in marine and botanical illustrations.
Currently working during the summer as chief naturalist on a tour boat operating out of Bar Harbor which is on Mount Desert Island in Maine.

Stamp collector, particularly birds on stamps if possible.
