I live in Western Michigan in Grand Haven. We are considered the Coast Guard Capital of the USA. We have plenty of lakeshore beaches and woodland trails and paths to venture out on.

My line of work is in the legal field but my passion is anything crafty. I love to sew, create, draw, build, paint........if there is a craft store, antique store or resale shop, garage sale.... I am sooo there. I love to read and will I read just about everything I can get my hands on. My favorite authors are Anne Rice, Stephen King, Jane Austin, MC Beaton, the list goes on. I typically have two or 3 books going at one time. In my house, you can always tell where I was last because you will usually find a random book there (and my glasses too). Someday I will either own a sewing shop or a bookstore. I love anything vintage (brocante). I collect old globes, mirrors, dress forms and rosaries. Started collecting snarky socks because sometimes I feel sassy but would rather not speak what I feel so I wear it and if you are lucky I will flash you my sock and saying. haha

I grew up on a small Island in Michigan - Mackinac Island. I will always consider this home. There are no cars there (only emergency vehicles) and you get around by horse or bicycles. It is my favorite place to be with its rich history and unique limestone rock formations. I am also a proud Native American woman with a rich history in this country and around the Great Lakes.

I have children who are young adults now and venturing out on their own. I am also a grandma - a young grandma but I love it. I love my three grandsons and 3 granddaughters whom I love very much. We have alot of fun being outside and crafting together.

I am here to meet and interact with people around the world – even it if is to just send a little note – hopefully it will brighten someone's day. And I hope to learn something new.
