I live in Bloemfontein, right in the middle of South Africa. I like traveling, seeing far corners of the world. I like the cobbled streets and charming old buildings in rural parts of Europe, and I like to chill on remote beaches. I also dream of traveling to Antarctica, or to the North Pole, I am drawn to ice and snow.
Another passion of mine is sailing. I like yacht racing and I love the beautiful lines of classic wooden yachts. Living inland at the moment, I dont get much chance to go sailing, but it is always on my mind.
I have a boring job at a bank, but I am working towards becoming a photographer.
I am interested in Postcrossing because I like to hear from people from cultures and places I dream of one day experiencing first hand. I'd like to hear about your country, what kind of life you live daily, and what your dreams are. Or feel free to tell me anything you want!

PS. The South African Post Office has been on strike since August 2014. They have started to deliver again, but there is a backlog. I have 2 postcards that have expired, I don't know if they will still be delivered, so I will send new ones.
