Hello! My name is Starr, and I live in California, USA. I've always loved traveling, sending and receiving mails, and postcards! I have a small postcard collection that I would love to build up, but hadn't previously because I didn't have the time/money to keep up with this hobby. However, I'd really like to get back into PostCrossing since it's so much fun! (I previously did postcard exchanges on other websites.)

My hobbies include learning about other languages and cultures, listening to music (everything from American oldies to alt/rock to Japanese boy bands!), geology, volunteering, watching movies and tv (shows like Doctor Who and Sherlock for example, and I watch a LOT of cooking and travel programs as well) and--of course--traveling! I hope to start a career in the travel industry sometime in the near future.

I love postcards that show off something unique about your town/city/state/country, city views, night views, your favorite nearby building or monument, etc.! But really, I'd love to receive whatever type of postcard you send me. :) If you've got something interesting to share about what's depicted on the postcard, or if you speak a language other than English, I'd love if you could share a greeting or a few words in that language! As I said, I love learning about other cultures and languages.
