About Megan...

Hello from North Carolina! My name is Megan and I consider myself an eternal tourist. I love postcards related to the various places of the world - cities, towns, countries, UNESCO sites, etc. My other favorite things are kitsch, culture, costumes, and movies/television/theater!

Oh, also, I really love randomly cute, weird things. I collect Japanese stationary and stamps of all types. I am a student of the absurd in a sense - I love to see what new and unusual things the world can come up with (possibly why I've always been a big fan of science fiction). If you are from overseas, if you could write a phrase or few words in your native language with a translation, that would be great! I'm trying to learn new languages all the time. Thanks tons!

My favorite cards to have are:

-UNESCO Sites (my favorite :D)
-Mapcards (especially subways and local areas!)
-Viewcards (single and multi)
-Gotochi cards from Japan, or any shaped, unique cards!
-Lighthouses
-Creepy places (prisons, ruins, abandoned places)
-City views
-Nature (especially mountains and fog and mist)
-ANYTHING about moss, rubber ducks, or karst topography!
-Astronomy
-Flag cards
-Russian Far East / Siberia
-Temples / Shrines / Churches
-Beaches
-Creeks, Rivers, Waterfalls
-Misty or Foggy Views
-Dramatic landscapes
-Deserted places
-Ruins
-Moomin

And especially any card that you would think would look great framed! I am decorating my house and if you have any postcards that would look great as a print, I would love to put it on my wall!

BUT any cards are great, except for...

Please no handmade cards - I am sensitive to the smell of some glues and they can make me sick. Also, just postcards please - no greeting cards or things that fold up.

Also, if you have cool stamps, please use them! I LOVE interesting, unique stamps. Thanks!
