About Alex...

**AUG 2020: Some postcards might arrive or be delivered late due to the unfortunate "war" between the government and the USPS. Delays aren't usually that extreme, but it might take a few extra days**

Hello, I'm Alex!

About Me:
-I'm very interested in learning about cultures and different languages
-I used to collect stamps and I look at the stamp on every postcard
-I collect metro maps, train tickets, and coins, so if you feel extra generous, I'd love it if you could send some!

You can write about anything, but if you're having trouble thinking of what to write, you can tell me about a landmark in your city/area and the history behind it! You can send me pretty much anything, even ad cards. Sometimes I like them even more than normal cards because I get to see different languages written! Some recommendations for postcard covers are:

* Tourist-y postcards (Multi/Singleview)
* Maps
* Retro ads / Propaganda
* Metro/Subway Maps
* Architecture
* "Greetings From..." cards
* German Ortsschild-Postkarten (I have a map of my received ones here: (https://bit.ly/2F9wIfm)
* Famous buildings/parks near you
* Flags
* Language & common phrases
Happy Postcrossing!

** I have a huge Google Maps list of places I find interesting, in case I ever happen to be there and want to visit! If you could write down one of your favorite places in your area, it might end up on the list! **

If you speak one of the languages I speak, it would be great if you could write in that language (German, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic). Even if I don't understand it 100%, It's still good practice to read and translate what I don't know :)
