About Dana...

I am a laid-off librarian and techno-dabbler with interests in photography, travel, and cats (wild and domestic). I also do a lot of biking, and got rid of my car in 2016. I volunteer for a local group that promotes bicycles as a form of transportation, where I hope to learn enough to become a bike mechanic. For my favorite recipes and regional cuisine, have a look at http://weirddana3.blogspot.com/search/label/postx. If you ask for a phrase in my native language, I'll sent you Esperanto instead; it's much more interesting than English.

My favorite part of a postcard is the message on the back. Please tell me all about whatever you care about or enjoy most. And don't worry if your English is less than perfect -- it's probably better than I could do in your language! Esperantistoj, bonvolu skribi al mi en esperanto; mi estas komencanto kaj mi bezonas la praktikon!

Any card is fine, I don't mind self-made, ad, or free cards if they're what you want to tell me. I'm particularly interested in cards about bicycles and biking, but please send me whatever you want to. The one thing I would ask: please don't put the Postcrossing ID or anything else important in the last finger-width at the bottom of the card; my post office tends to put barcode stickers there and they don't always peel off easily.

I speak English and Spanish, but I can also (usually) decipher Portuguese, Italian, and German, so feel free to write in one of those if you prefer. Or you can teach me a word or phrase in another language, I collect those too.

Oh, and the reason for my Postcrossing screen name? I live at the southern tip of Puget Sound and am a neopagan.
