Hello! My name is Sophie! And I have a serious case of wanderlust!

I have my own collection of postcards from all the places I have visited, but as I am still currently a student, I don't have much spare time or money to actually go and visit all the places in the world that I want to see.

This lead me to Postcrossing - I thought I could see the world through postcards!

I particularly love postcards that show me the landmarks of your nearest town/city/state or something that is characteristic of your country! I really love the collage postcards of towns and cities which summarise an entire place on one piece of card!!
I am not a fan of anime, seasons greetings or cartoon cards only because I want to learn about the world!

I recently got engaged and my fiance and I want to have a travel themed wedding with a postcard guestbook that our guests can write on. So I am looking to get a selection of postcards from around the world that are kindly donated by lovely people like yourselves. If you can help me with this, then please send the postcard blank in an envelope and put the postcard ID on the envelope. Again we want ones which summarise a specific place and any help for our alternative guest book will be greatly appreciated.

If you dont want to send us a blank postcard for our guest book then I would love it if you could write the town/city you live in on that postcard and tell me a little bit about where you live! Tell me about your favourite bar or restaurant, something I should definitely go see if I ever manage to visit and
Finally, I also love languages and learning languages! I speak English and French. My German is a bit rusty but my penpal is helping with that :) So I would love it if you could write a sentence or two in your native language so I can learn some more!
