I'm very new to Postcrossing, so this profile will be a work in progress, but here are the essentials:

Fortyish native of Eastern North Carolina, now living in metro Atlanta. Yes, I have an accent; no, I'm not a redneck -- but don't bring up barbecue unless you want to hear strong opinions. By day, I'm an employee benefits specialist working as an account manager at a small insurance brokerage. Outside work, I'm a crazy cat lady who enjoys creative writing (including but not limited to fan fiction), reading, photography, walking/hiking, traveling and cross-stitching.

I would LOVE postcards that show an image of an attraction, skyline or other town/city/view from your local area! Also, I only read English, so if your image has a quote or text on it, would you mind sending a translation?

But more importantly -- any postcards at all are welcome (except for please no advertising). Right now I am going to ask for ONLY postcards; no souvenirs, trinkets, etc. Nor am I able to send anything but postcards. But be as creative as you'd like!
