Here is a little bit about me...

I work in the field of learning and development, so I help people within their companies grow and develop themselves to be better leaders. I derive a great deal of satisfaction from my work, and am quite passionate about this field.

I love to travel to just about anywhere that is new, but I find also a wonderful feeling of roaming familiar streets that still have a touch of the new for me. I love to wander the neighborhood streets wherever I am, far from the tourist attractions, so I feel immersed in the culture and way of life. I especially love South America - the food, the history, the people, the handicrafts and the amazing geography. My husband and I recently spent three spectacular, mind clearing, and leg toning weeks hiking in Patagonia.

My free time is spent reading, cooking, writing or visiting museums. Hopper is one of my all time favorites, but there are too many artists to mention here. I collect artwork from Indian artists, a favorite is JMS Mani. I also am a fan of architecture (clean lines - e.g., the Mies van der Rohe stuff) and modern furniture. While I don't bake pastries, I am becoming an artisanal bread baker (in free time, not as permanent job!). I love to eat! :)

All postcards are welcome, but I especially love postcards of whatever you truly love - whether it is your town, your favorite place to visit, your favorite piece of art, or just a card that brings you pure pleasure to see - anything is most welcome.
