I live in a small community in Northwest Ohio. As I drive anywhere around here, I enjoy flat beautiful, fields of corn and soybeans, and a lot of deer, birds, and other wildlife.

I have two adult children, a son and a daughter. My son lives in the same town as I do, and my daughter lives several hours away in the capital city of Columbus, Ohio.

I am retired from my job as a nursing home human resources manager, where I did orientations, payroll, benefits, and all kinds of other things. People are fascinating and I loved my job. I had done this job for over 25 years and I LOVED it!

Handwritten notes and cards are a wonderful thing these days, with all the technology. I love sending cards and letters, and as far as I know, most folks like receiving them too!

My favorite activities are reading, watching college American football, volunteering and church activities! Living for Jesus is the biggest part of my life! Just recently I realized I had become engaged with backyard bird watching. I have a ravine outside my patio window, and the birds are plentiful, diverse and colorful. My newest hobby is watching Columbus Crew MLS soccer! I have never known much about soccer but now I'm really like liking it. I also started watching professional women's volleyball. I'll never be able to play sports again But I can watch it on TV, and streaming. I pretty much like all kinds of music, everything from hard rock and roll to techno rock To classical and everything in between.

My family and I are cat lovers, cats are such curious creatures!!! I also love the color purple!

Besides cat and animal cards I also love to receive cards with beautiful scenery on it whether it be your beautiful city or some place that you've been on vacation. A recent Postcrosser sent me a card with Moomin!! Now I would love to receive cards with those characters on them! They are adorable . I also like holiday cards, no matter the holiday! My favorite holiday is Christmas! The actual picture of the postcard isn't what it's important, it's that you took the time to send it! Thank you very much for all your time and sending me a postcard!
