My name is Sheryle. I'm 52 and have 4 wonderful sons. My 2 youngest live with me, they are 18 and 23. We have 5 dogs that keep me pretty busy. My latest dog is a pug. She's a joy !
I don't work and have no transportation at the moment, so I've become somewhat of a homebody. Since I can't travel like I have in the past, I thought joining this site would bring a bit of happiness back into my life. I was right !
I enjoy the following tv shows-South Park, The Middle, Last Man Standing, The Office, Animal Kingdom and Bob's Burgers. I also watch Key and Peele, and SNL. I don't like reality TV, but I do love the Kardashians !
I enjoy watching movies. I'm a big fan of comedies and horror. Some of my favorite actors are Jim Carrey, Al Pacino, Mark Wahlberg, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Will Ferrell. I love Vincent Price, and Bette Davis !
I enjoy listening to music and have a varied taste ranging from Elvis to Megadeth.
I love being with my dogs and have been involved in rescue work and transporting dogs. Rescue, adoption, and eradicating puppy mills is something I'm very passionate about. I spend a lot of time on Facebook in the doggy/rescue community and run an auction group that helps raise funds for different animals/rescues in need.
I collect Barbie dolls, pretty/unusual stamps (it would be awesome if you sent your card with some interesting stamps inside or on it) and Christmas ornaments. I have a big miniature doll house too !
I enjoy taking pictures of my family, my dogs, and the great outdoors (in autumn especially! It is my favorite season).
I love animals-especially giraffes, chihuahuas and PUGS! (I follow Doug the Pug on Facebook!)
I recently started coloring and have several books-it's very relaxing.
I love sparkly, glittery, girly things, the beach, seashells, sugar skull art, purses, tattoos, flowers, wind chimes, stickers and paw print themed items.
I'll be happy with any type of card, but would love to get something that shows the area where you live-landmarks, 'tourist' type postcards, or something that I mentioned above. I would also love to get any postcards that show flowers (especially sunflowers), butterflies, unique/unusual postcards and designs, vintage themes, and anything related to dogs and dog rescue. Christmas cards in December would be great ! The only thing I'm not too crazy about is sports.
Envelopes are ok-especially if you wanted to include some of your original artwork or were interested in being pen pals. Feel free to draw, include a funny quote, saying or story, or poem. I love handmade items and creative people !
