I am a wife and mom by vocation and a registered nurse and doula by (part-time) occupation. I was raised in Seattle and moved to my current community over 20 years ago.

I've been married to my wonderful husband almost 3 decades and together we have seven awesome children

We live in a community which bills itself as the Lavender Capitol of North America. I spend much of my time driving to, spectating at, or returning home from soccer practices and games! I also volunteer at church and as a hospice respite caregiver.

Reading is one of my passions, as is providing birth and breastfeeding support and mentoring marriages. My main interest is my family, and I like to take mini-trips with them, go camping, attend church together, and I play a mean game of rummy! Music is another thing I enjoy, including 80s rock and roll, George Winston, Canadian Tenors, Piano Guys, Pentatonix, musical soundtracks, Windham Hill Records, and just about anything, especially if I can sing along to it.

To sum up, I am a married, homebirthin', homeschoolin', Catholic Christian, baker-knitter-reader mom to 7 on earth & 7 with God, IBCLC, lactivist, pro-lifer, NFP-er, intactivist, and passionate about normal, non-interventive birth & breastfeeding!
