The postcard themes I'd like to receive include:

- Christmas and New Year postcards. They're my main collection focus, so please send them at any time of the year! I'm especially interested in traditional Christmas and New Year folk characters and legends from countries around the world. These include Sinterklaas and Zwarte Pete, Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, Nisse (tomte/tonttu), Pere Fouettard, Krampus, and many others who came before the "western" story and image of Santa Claus during the winter holiday season. Santa is very much appreciated though! I'd also really like Christmas trees and other holiday decorations or seasonal view cards from your area.

- Cats: real or illustrated

- Gnomes

Please send all cards written and stamped. I would prefer not to receive ad cards, handmade cards, cards generated from websites such as Touch Note, or folded greeting cards.

I am currently isolating at home due to the coronavirus situation and must take extra precautions during this time, so please don't feel obligated to send a card from my wishlist if you're not able to. I understand it's difficult and even dangerous to go shopping at the moment. I'm very grateful to receive any thoughtful postcard. Seeing the mailman approaching my home and reading your card is one of the few points of human contact I have right now!

Before all of this, I was working in a local pet store with a special interest in aquarium fish, cats, and feline nutrition. I've had several cats throughout my life and currently am a guardian to five with different and complex medical needs. Each and every one of them arrived at my back door likely abandoned by their previous owners. There's always room for one more I keep saying. I'm currently looking to become a veterinary nurse or animal cruelty investigator, which is a bit of a late career change for me at 32. I usually find myself in the adult gaming sector and have worked for a popular online poker platform, in a haunted bingo hall that has remained untouched since the 1930s (pink walls and big mirrors), and was the night manager of my local casino.
