Hello. I live in Brighton and love the sea. I live here with my partner and work in local government in the nearby town of Lewes which is very picturesque.

I love to read and would like to travel more than I do. I studied ancient history at university and tend to visit places with a rich history (which doesn't really narrow it down).

I follow a vegan diet and enjoy yoga and long walks.

I have an irrational fear of sharks - we don't get them in the UK - but still try to swim in the sea as often as I can.

I'm learning to quilt and am trying to learn Arabic (Modern Standard) and French, although having said that I am about to start a BSL course! I love languages, especially dead ones and learnt Latin and ancient Greek and have dabbled with Assyrian and ancient Egyptian.

I really want to learn a language with someone. So if you are interested in learning a language let me know and we can start together. I'm currently looking at the Scandinavian languages but would love to hear what you are interested in.

I love writing letters and look forward to writing many postcards. If anyone wants to be pen-pals rather than just sending a postcard please let me know!
