I have lived in many places around the United States as well as a short time in Japan in the 60's, as I was married to a person in the Air Force. I've always come back to Tucson, Arizona--it appears my roots are here!

I'm retired; enjoy reading, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with my dear friends. I love old black and white movies from the 1940's era and playing games on the computer--I'm really hooked on Mahjong! I also love watching baseball games on tv and naturally my favorite team is the Arizona Diamondbacks.

My favorite postcards would be those with:

native/wild animals
flowers
landscapes/mountains/water scenes, as in lakes, rivers, etc
pets...dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.
hearts
giraffes
your hometown/country
beautiful buildings
bridges
nature
And, since I consider myself an Anglo-phile, anything
with a British theme.

When I was a youngster back in 1952, I watched Queen Elizabeth's coronation on tv. I was totally mesmerized watching a "real queen". But actually, anything that you choose to send me I would treasure; learning about you and what you do is what interests me.

My constant companion is my 15-year-old chihuahua, Paco. He is very smart; he actually used to listed to my phone conversations and could tell when someone was coming to visit us! His hearing has greatly diminished now, so he just watched the door for activity outside.
