I am retired after 35 years with IBM. I am a proud grandfather with 6 grandchildren. I live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, USA. I am passionate about classical music and opera, and collect postage stamps. My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S., a little bit of Canada and Mexico and visited Europe on 3 occasions: Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands and London, UK.

I am fluent in English, but know some French and Russian from school, know a little Polish (my grandparents all came from Poland around 1900) and tiny bit of German and Italian.

I am interested in the culture, customs and scenery of all the world.
