Hello! My name is Sara. I am a woman in her 40's from Nebraska, United States of America.

I have a wonderful husband, and 2 delightful stepdaughters. I work with animals every day, and have 2 dogs, Heeler/Border Collie Mixed litter mates. My work (at an Animal Hospital) is making it more difficult to travel, and so I would love to make new friends around the world on postcrossing.

I love to travel, but I did not go overseas until I was in my 30's. I have been to Ethiopia, China, Japan, Germany, Korea, Canada - and lots of places in the United States as well.

I also enjoy going to second-hand (used) clothing stores and finding vintage dresses. Then I like to alter the dresses to fit and be more modern. And so you can guess, sewing is another hobby of mine. I also crochet, very poorly. I have tried to learn to play the Ukulele as well as the Guitar, but I am not very skilled at either. I also have tried to learn Spanish, but I need to try harder! I also like Star Trek (Voyager is my favorite) and fictional crime drama books. I really enjoy reading!

My favorite postcards are artistic (drawings/paintings of nature - flowers, plants, birds, etc...), colorful/rainbow, the universe/space, funny cards, interesting/beautiful local architecture, reproductions of vintage tourism card, Lantern Press postcards -- but I will enjoy anything you would like to send. I am not picky! I just want to know about you.
