The Kutztown Area School District is based in a small community in southeastern Pennsylvania in the United States of America. The district covers approximately 100 square miles, combining three municipalities and three townships. Students arrive to school by school bus, family car, bicycles or on foot. Our building houses grades kindergarten through grade 5, roughly ages 6 - 11.

Settlers came from the southern region of Germany in the 1800s, making their homes in the rolling hills and valleys of Berks County, filled with fertile farm land and green pastures. Some of our families carry on those centuries old traditions of farming and manufacturing in our community today. Still, with our convenient location just one hour north of Philadelphia or two hours west of New York City, major metropolitan areas are within easy access.

The mission of the Kutztown Area School District is to inspire learners to grow as contributing members of the global community. Our fourth grade group meets once a week for enrichment activities and gifted support services. We are excited to receive postcards from our neighbors near and far.
