About Roman...
Hi there,
I originally started postcrossing about two and a half years ago simply out of curiosity. As the time went by I managed to amass a collection of lovely postcards and I enjoyed every minute of the process. After a couple of months, however, I went to college and postcrossing no longer fit in with my cramped schedule. For that reason I stopped postcrossing and was inactive for almost exactly two years.
Now, two years older, I resumed postcrossing, if for quite a different reason. Ihave had a rough couple of months, what with me dropping out of college, struggling with an untreatable illness, etc. Two and a half years ago I started postcrossing because I had plenty of time on my hands and nothing to sink my teeth into, whereas now I came back to postcrossing to distract myself from all the hardship I've been contending with.
If you are about to send me a postcard, I would be very grateful if you could send me one which shows your town/city or your country.
If you do not know what to write, you might share with me some interesting snippets of your life story; I would be particularly interested in how you cope with miscellaneous problems life brings along.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Roman
edit:
If you are a native English speaker and providing you are interested in making new friends via postcrossing, please do let me know. I am a bit of an anglophile and I would love to make friends from around the anglophone world. Last year (at the age of 20) I managed to pass the CPE exam at grade A which is my greatest achievement so far. However, I still know very little about the life and culture of the people living in English-speaking countries and I would like to change that...with your help. :-)
