I have enjoyed postcards since I was a child, so I was very happy to learn about postcrossing! When I was little, I had scrapbooks full of postcards. I still buy them whenever I visit a new place or see an unusual card. I also love sending and receiving letters and packets in the mail, and I always had penpals when I was a girl.

I love reading, cooking, and traveling. I read a lot, mostly classic novels and philosophy (my 'day job' is teaching philosophy). Right now, I am reading The Siege by Ismail Kadare and various books about Aristotle (for my job). I travel whenever I can, and I would love to read about your favorite place to visit. Or you could share a favorite recipe or book with me. Or you could tell me your favorite quotation or saying (with an English translation alongside, if it is in anther language). I would also be happy to hear something about you or your favorite thing to do in your hometown.

-something unique or special about the place where you live or your favorite place to visit
- anything unusual or interesting that you think I might like! I really like vintage cards, especially the old linen ones. I also would love a thoughtfully constructed handmade card.
