Hello, my name is Andrea,

I live in the UK, more specifically the south-west of England. I originally come from the north-east though so I have a really out of place local dialect down here.

I'm a very creative person who likes writing, drawing and photography to name but a few things. I also used to work in theatre on sets, props and costumes. Unfortunately, now I work in an office, which is far less interesting but much better paid, however, creative things like postcrossing brighten up a sometimes dull day.

I can be nerdy, I enjoy comics, manga and cult/iconic films and memorabilia. I'm also really into music from classical to jazz and electronica to indie, when I had more time I created podcasts and remixes. I am a fan of street art, unusual architecture and product designs (preferably in bright colours).

The kind of postcards I like would include:

Anything weird or bizarre
Robots
Sci-fi
Comedy
Bold graphic prints
Arty photography
Local art and illustration
Local nature (landscapes, sky, forests etc)
Animals (both real and drawn, in particular birds and big cats)
Media (tv/film/gaming memorabilia)
Fashion and costume (old and new)
City scenes/local architecture

Things I do not want are:

Anything boring that features a lot of brown or beige as the dominant colour.
Plain postcards
Homemade postcards (unless they're awesome!)
