About Meghann...
I live in Clinton Township, Michigan. I am not from here in the slightest but wound up here after college because I was able to get a job. I like it okay.
Michigan gets a nice mix of seasons which is wonderful because I love snow, the changing of the the leaves in fall, and the first flowers in spring.
I have a world literature degree so I spend a lot of time reading. I collect books I love in different languages on my travels. It makes for an interesting mix on my bookshelves. I have an eclectic mix of things anyway. I just tend to find odd things and decorate my house with them. Anything that feels magical or historical grabs my attention and becomes part of some larger story. I am currently, getting my MBA in accounting since I work in accounting. How someone with a literature degree ended up working in accounting, I have no idea.
I love Pop Culture. My mom and I are musical theatre enthusiasts. We see all the musicals that come to Detroit. I love Disney animals and sidekicks. My absolute favorite show is Call The Midwife but, I watch a lot of Supernatural Dramas (Penny Dreadful, Lost Girl, Bitten, Being Human, True Blood...werewolves, vampires, faeries, ghosts, etc.) and Comedies (The Good Place, Brooklyn 99, Monty Python, etc.) a well. My tastes are fairly mixed.
I have a cat named Nina; she is a a lap cat and firmly believes she is a princess. She is adorable and means more to me than anything else.
I love getting any and all postcards. The varying stamps, the different handwriting styles, personally I won't be overly bothered if I can't read what is written on it because I love seeing different languages. I am just excited to get something unique and fascinating. I especially love holiday cards whatever holiday is happening where you are.
Also my boyfriend loves classic and cool cars and motorcycles so if you have a cool one you want to send him that would be wonderful. His name is Eric and his birthday in July 10th.
I tend to favorite all postcards I receive because I love each of them.
Note: Please try not to send me postcards or stamps of realistic depictions of bugs. I am terrified of spiders and most insects in general and would prefer not to receive any in the mail.
Thanks.
I look forward to seeing what you send me.
