Hello! My name is Rae. I live near Madison, Wisconsin in north central US - home to a wonderful university, lovely lakes and woods, and lots of generous, creative people.

My joys include reading, hiking, kayaking, and walking in fabulous gardens. Travel has always been a delight. When travel is limited I like to explore the world vicariously through films, online classes, and virtual museums. I enjoy home life with time to read books - literature, art history, memoirs, cookbooks . Staying close to home for too long though makes me miss random encounters with people we meet when traveling.

Any card you choose will be a pleasure to receive. Some unexpected themes have been favorites. I especially love art cards, those from independent bookstores or special libraries, and ones that feature interesting people or architectural highlights. Special stamps are always a treat. It’s just nice to find treasures in the mail and hear about you and your adventures.
