About Natasha...

Hello Fellow Postcrossers,

I am a career woman with an erratic schedule as I am freelance. Occasionally my job takes me to interesting places (where I always search for postcards!) but otherwise I spend most of my time in Southern California where I am owned by two cats. I do have family in England and occasionally visit there and am sure to pick up a postcard or three dozen from my travels.

In my free time (when it exists), I like to read, write, catch a film, go to karaoke with my friends, sketch and sew (usually costumes).

If you need an idea for a postcard to send me, I enjoy:
- landscapes not limited to mountains, oceans, forests, meadows, deserts, snowscapes, gardens, bridges, rivers, etc
- architecture, castles, cathedrals, temples, stately homes or famous locations, skyscrapers, town views, fountains, gardens
- black & white and especially antique photography
- night views (but no all black "night at such-and-such a place" please)
- sunrise / sunsets
- art (by famous or local artists...or your own!) or comics / manga / anime / my heart sings for Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang
- maps
- funny or unusual postcards (nothing explicit please).
- old / antique advertisements and theatre / movie / landmark / travel posters
- Anything 1950s and earlier (Victorian, Art Deco, Renaissance, Middle Ages, ancient empires, etc!)
- animals
- cultural interest
- handmade postcards

I also like interesting/cute stamps.

As for ideas of what to write if you are drawing a blank... you can tell me about your day or your hometown. I like trivia or points of interest about places/cities or if you want to translate the postcard blurb if it is not in English I would be eternally grateful! You can write me a favorite quote... hope that helps.

Happy postcrossing!
