I live in the Florida panhandle near the Alabama border, along the sugar white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. I long to one day live in Vermont, near where I honeymooned. I love to create things and work with my hands-- crafting, cooking, planting etc. Reading is a passion as is having fun. I am a mom to 2 school-aged children and 1 son who has recently left the nest, having just graduated high school. In addition to taking care of the house & kids, I run a vintage clothing shop on etsy known as Maidenhair Vintage. I am very happily married to my best friend who is an architect by trade. One elderly adopted pound pup & 2 young adopted kittens complete our family.

I love handmade cards, vintage or retro cards, scenic cards that allow me to witness a glimpse of your corner of the world, textiles, pottery, art, sculptural lines, vivid colors, black and white photography, architecture, fashion, gnomes, mushrooms, vintage holiday cards (my favorites are Halloween and Valentines), birds, nature and illustrations (just to name a few). Really though, I will enjoy any card sent to me. :-) I look at postcrossing as an excellent opportunity to expand horizons by meeting so many interesting people from all over the world. I am always happy to continue correspondence beyond one postcard.
