Hello! My name is Eva. I am a retired elementary teacher who is married with two grown children (boy and girl.) I live in a small rural town near the Cascade Mountains which looks out on spectacular Mt. Rainier, the highest peak in Washington state.

I have loved postcards ever since I was a child when my grandmother would send them to me. I have participated in postcrossing a while ago, but am restarting again.

I love to travel. My first trip abroad was to London and Athens. Since 2005 my husband and I have made multiple trips to a variety of locations in Europe. I've also traveled over much of America and a bit into British Columbia, Canada. In the last few years cruising has become our preferred way to explore new places.

I love the learning from the internet, watching romantic movies, reading historical fiction and biographies, sewing and quilting, making crafts, visiting art museums, and growing strawberries in my summer garden.
