Hello!

My name is Pinja (pronounced like in piña colada). I'm originally from Finland, but I'm currently living in the United Kingdom with my boyfriend.

I live in the superbly idyllic Cambridge, which is located in the East of England. My favourite thing about Cambridge is all the beautiful university buildings and green parks!

In my free time I enjoy cooking, writing and all kinds of arts and crafts, especially knitting, crochet, drawing and painting! I used to play guitar and piano, but I have become rusty due to the lack of instruments and practice.

Me and my boyfriend love to play board games, and we have a good collection of 25 different board games. He is very good and wins very often, so whenever I win, I feel very smart :P

I have always been passionate about languages, even if they have been the trickiest subject to learn. I am fluent in Finnish and English, and I've been learning other languages such as Russian, Swedish, Estonian and British Sign Language throughout the years.

I'm quite passionate about anything vintage or historic, and art / design movements (art nouveau / early 1900s being some of my favourites). If you send me a postcard, I would love to get a fun fact about you, your country or town, so I can impress my boyfriend who is currently the fun-fact champion. You can also recommend me food recipes from your country, so I can expand my cuisine horizons. If you have any artistic flair, I would love to receive handmade cards as well!
