Hi Postcrossers,
I am a photographer/artist living in Los Angeles, California, USA, although my day job is the front desk of a university's dental school. I have a BA in Art, and recently started a website for my own photography, painting, and drawings. I have 2 cats & a dog. I would love more pets once I have a bigger place; I can never have enough! I have a tortoise that I rescued, and he lives at my parents' house.
I like hiking, camping, traveling, drawing, making scrabble tile jewelry, and of course, photography (mostly with plastic cameras for interesting effects).
Most of my trips have been within the U.S., but I've been to: Belize, Guatemala, Scotland, and Ireland. The places I'd like to visit most are Italy, Greece, Wales, Denmark, (& Scotland again!), but any trip is a good one!

My favorite types of postcards to receive are:

-Fine art & ancient art,like postcards from museum stores (especially black and white photography or famous paintings), or native arts & crafts. I really like the Impressionist & Surrealist movements.

-National/state parks,monuments, and beaches

-Famous landmarks/buildings in your area

-Scenic nature views/landscapes in your area

-Cityscapes of your area

-Native wild animals in your area

-UNESCO sites

-Aurora Borealis, if you live up that way

-I also like cats, dolphins, owls, tortoises, and unusual/rare animals like capybaras and meerkats.

However,I am grateful for any kind of postcard you send. Feel free to write in your native language, too. Thank you!
