Hello World!!!

We are a group of 4th and 5th graders (ages 9 and 10) in a Montessori classroom (called the Phoenix Class) based in a school in Austin, Texas. We thought that Postcrossing would be a wonderful way to learn about geography and people living in other parts of the world!

We will be thrilled with any postcards (as long as they are age appropriate) that you send to us but, especially love animals, science or postcards of where you live. Feel free to write what is in your heart or what the weather is like, what your favorite food is, if you have pets or children...the sky is the limit!

We are working on math and money in class right now. If possible, we would love it if you could send us an example of your money. We are collecting paper bills and learning how to work with currency from around the world. We know its supposed to be post cards only but if you can find a way to send us an example of your money we would be most grateful. (Obviously, this is not necessary!)

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the postcrossing community. We are super excited to get post cards to share in our classroom and mark the countries we explore on our map.
