I am a retired teacher. I taught 10-11 year old children for 32 years. When I retired I moved near Seattle, Washington to be close to my son, daughter and 2 grandchildren.

I make quilts, greeting cards, jewelry and other crafty stuff. I walk around the streets and parks for exercise and also go to aerobics classes. I love to read and am never without a book nearby.

I love to travel and plan to do more in the future. It is rainy here in Washington and when the sun comes out I love to sit out in the sun in my yard and feel the warmth, reading a book or gardening.

I hope to hear from people all over the world. I think the world is a big place but all the people share a lot of similar experiences and feelings.
