In all seriousness, sending postcards is one of my favorite ways to live in the moment. It's almost like a dying art form- underappreciated for its charming simplicity, forgotten in a world rushing passed it. The "time is money" mentality is everything I dislike about modern society, so it's great to take myself out of it when and however I can so that I'm better able to appreciate the little things.

I thought it'd be fun to share a few tidbits about me, some of which I don't typically share right off the bat when introducing myself. Hope each and every one of you who comes across my page finds something they equally enjoy or that perhaps sparks some interest!

• Pickles. Need I say more?
• I like surprises and I just can't wrap my head around why that's not the norm
• Pointing out left-handed people on tv (southpaw here)
• Random trinkets-- the smaller, the better
• Learning people's different personality types (I'm an ENFJ & Type 2)
• Anything colorful but especially purple
• 2 truths & a lie: I have 2 cats, I'm a twin, I despise sports (I hope you guessed the last one as the lie!)
• I can probably quote all of Forrest Gump
• I'm determined to be a master archer someday (I say half jokingly)
• Candles all day err'day
• I'm the only person in my family who can't roll their tongue lol sad but true
• Playing Scrabble
• I will learn to crochet soon!
• To draw and to paint mostly w/ watercolors
• Apparently I'm obsessed with umbrellas
• Flags & just geography in general (Try out Geoguessr and Worldle)
• Traveling wherever and whenever I'm lucky enough to
• Languages are my jam and I love to soak them up any chance I get (Always feel free to write something in your native tongue and/or script)

• Trees-- AKA my future first tattoo
• I'm in grad school pursuing my Master's in Social Work
• Growing up I wanted to be a vet; Now, as one of my past students so aptly put it, I just want to be okay. ;)

It's so inspiring to learn about everybody else's passions and what moves them so please tell me about one if you wish to, or simply anything you care to share is fine by me.

As far as postcards go, I swear I'm not picky! If you'd like some ideas though, then let me try and give you a hand. Just to name a few: Art History (i.e. Van Gogh, museums), floral landscapes, unconventional views/angles of popular sites in your city, shots of your local people/food/customs. Honestly, I'd be happy with whatever!
