I live a few miles north of Washington, DC, capital of the US and the city where I was born.

I'm mostly interested in books and reading, both nonfiction and novels, and when I'm not sitting on my nice, big living room couch with a book or my Kindle, I'm working at my library or re-arranging my thousands of books. I also work at quilting, gardening, and connecting with people through postcards. I'm married, with two children and three cats. My son is a musician and my daughter is an art assistant to a collector in NY -- very interesting job. For many years I worked as a medical editor. Now I'm retired with a few volunteer jobs and enough time to read as much as I want!
