I am a keen knitter. I collect owls , not live ones though, which started when I was 21. I am interested in most crafts and am keen to try most things at least once. When I was 8 years old I started collecting postage stamps and still do
I read thrillers but not horror stories
I am a member of Rotary and have been a member since July 2015. The club I belong to is Helderberg Sunrise and I am so glad I joined Rotary. Paying things forward.
My partner (now husband) and I have been to Russia, China, America (twice) as well as several countries in Europe . One place still on my bucket list is anywhere where I can see the Northern Lights yet at the same time I am perfectly happy to be in South Africa as there are so many beautiful places here that I have still to see.
I live in Gordon's Bay a small town on False Bay.
The best thing about travelling is meeting new people and eating the same food . Russian borsch , Chinese dim sum , American corn dogs, German wurst, French crepes. Someday I will recapture the magic by making these foods again
