About Harsh...

The world has changed a lot & so have I !!! From being a naughty & adorable boy a year ago to a more wild & vibrant edition
Always effervescent by nature, going by the meaning of my name - JOY or HAPPINESS; an Indian name pronounced as 'h-uh-rr-sh'

My father continues to write the postcards until I get a hold on doing so; I enjoy the incoming mail

I'm interested in knowing more about the world. On registering postcards I will write 'I have learnt that…. ' ; so feel free to teach me something with your message
Every sender is my teacher & every postcard my window to the world

Collecting "NEWSPAPER MASTHEADS" is my hobby, read more about it below

Postcard themes
-elephants (I collect figurines too!)
-dogs & squirrels
-insects, including spiders (which technically are not insects)
-flags of countries (no state flags please)
-national anthems
-nobel prize winners, all categories (I will send a thank you postcard)
-Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Chronicles of Narnia
-Greek & Roman Mythology
-maxi/maxim/maximum cards
-3D cards
-long, square, odd shaped
-cars & airplanes

Flag cards already received: lookup my wall

These are the top portion of the front page of the newspaper. Typically the part where the name of newspaper along with the logo is printed with the date & city of edition
Happy to receive decorative mastheads printed on days of national importance & festivals. Also welcome are sports, travel, home, business, international & other features but no magazines please
No restrictions on language, date & frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc). If any of the news is noteworthy then include the same

If you wish to send an envelope & don't mind then please send
-NEWSPAPER MASTHEADS (I will send a thank you postcard)
-currency; I'll gift the postman equivalent Indian rupees for the joy he brings from across the world. He is a wonderful person who in turn uses the money to educate a girl child or take care of his aged neighbor
-unused miniature / souvenir sheets of stamp. They appeal to me more than stamps
-bookmarks, calendars
-fridge magnets
-key chains

Direct swaps will be entertained if they help in enriching my collection of NEWSPAPER MASTHEADS

About me during the 2020 lockdown & extended stay-at-home
-gobbled up book-after-book; finished reading the entire Harry Potter & Lord Of The Rings series in 2 months. Read a whole lot of children fantasy & fiction novels & there is no giving up yet
-made steady progress in the Kumon Maths (completer in March 2021) & English (completer in June 2021) Program
-started learning to play the guitar from June 2021
-developed a strong bond with the pigeons & squirrels outside my window & on the terrace by feeding them twice a day
-spending each passing day with my father in the same room (online school & work from home) & we have a ‘love-hate relationship’

Eager to get back to normal school from the current online mode

JOY! from Bangalore, India
