Hi! I'm Olivia, I'm a lifelong Chicagoan with the exception of 3 places I briefly escaped to in my 20s: Seattle, San Diego and Wakefield, UK in that order. Now in my 40s, I have settled in the windy city. Chicago can be a tough town, but I'm a pretty tough woman! Actually, I am a sensitive introvert type on the inside, the tough exterior is just an illusion. Chicago has a lot of art and culture and that's what keeps me here because it's certainly not the weather!
My husband and I live in our first home close to the city center. We have been together for 18 years and don't have children. My dream to get a kitten was finally realized in 2020 when we adopted 2 stray kitties from our backyard! The boy is Panpan and girl is Jasper, aka Mystery Man and Miss Meeperton. They're such sweet little ones, we love them so much! We still feed their momma out back. We are totally the crazy cat people in our neighborhood.
I'm an artist and designer and I love to create, with various projects going at all times. I'm pretty obsessed with snail mail and have an instagram devoted to it ( @ xoxoliviarrow ). I love handwriting, all types of mail and pretty stamps. Even more, I love hearing your thoughts, observations and dreams. I'm happy to exchange postcards with you and learn about any sliver of your life that you'd like to share with me.
I'm open to all postcard styles, including handmade and especially artsy ones with illustration, photography, painting, sculpture, dance and so on. Also clouds, or skies are a personal favorite. Ad cards are fine as long as they illustrate something very specific to where you live. My middle name is Arrow and I love to collect all things arrow themed, I'm always super excited for anything with arrow involved in the image.
