I'm a 22 year-old gender neutral trans artist recently graduated from Lawrence University and living with my partner & my ball python Vincent in Appleton, WI.

Until I came to Appleton in the fall of 2013, I'd lived in various suburbs of Chicagoland since I was born. Since moving to Appleton, I've spent my each of my summer breaks in a different state--Austin, TX (2014), New York, NY (2015), and Appleton, WI & Deer Isle, ME (2016).

I draw, paint & do printmaking and ceramics. I like to read, ride my bike, and learn new things--currently the new things include: photography and roller derby. I just completed my first season this past spring, and I've officially been playing for one year as of August 2017! My derby name is Walled Whipman (or Whip, for short).

I love all animals--currently, I have a two-year-old cinnamon ball python named Vincent and a 10 y/o shih tzu/yorkie mix named Oliver (who lives with my parents in IL). But in the past, I've had a cat, rabbit, chinchillas, hamsters, fish, & guinea pigs.

I most want to visit Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, Iceland, Puerto Rico, New Mexico & Alaska (US).

I've lived in or visited: California, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, New York, Maine, Italy (Rome, Florence, Siena, Verona, Venice), and the Turks & Caicos Islands (Grand Turk, Provodenciales).

Some of my favourite movies & tv shows are: Dead Poets Society, A Beautiful Mind, LOTR trilogy, Harry Potter 1-7, The Dark Knight, The Millenium Trilogy (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc--Swedish), The Matrix, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black, Peaky Blinders, Portlandia, and Breaking Bad.

Some of my favourite books/authors: Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Good Omens, Neverwhere, Coraline, The Graveyard Book, short stories, etc), John Green, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Walden by Henry David Thoreau, Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman, Andrea Gibson (spoken word artist/slam poet), Buddy Wakefield (spoken word artist/slam poet), Demian by Herman Hesse, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.

I am currently (re)reading: Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt, A Crown of Thorns by George R. R. Martin

I have recently (re)read: The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer (read 3x in 2 years; one of my all-time favourites!), Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintainence by Robert Pirsig, A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, Dune by Frank Herbert, On Writing by Stephen King, The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, Welcome to the Goddamn Ice Cube by Blair Braverman (<-- I highly recommend!!!)
