I teach 3rd grade (children 8-9 years old). I am easy to please. I like to collect postcards from around the world and share with my students, then they use a map to locate where the postcards came from. It's is a great fun way to learn geography.

Please tell us anything about your city, state, providence, country... Favorite cultural food, music, holiday, past time, etc... A quick intro to learning about other cultures.

Maybe one place that we should visit and one place we should eat at (favorite restaurant)....
If you could put the date on there, so my students can track the travel time vs. the distance..... :)

I register every post card that comes my way. Every time. If you sent one to me, and I haven't registered, let me know. I will register it.

I am really looking to get Rome, Egypt, Mali post cards. It would connect to our Social Studies curriculum!
