I'm a 19-year old Finnish girl studying History in an university in Scotland. Studying abroad has never been my dream, to be exact, but I'm more than happy to finally see the world. Also, History has always been my passion, thus, and since I've always wanted to make it my profession, I'm glad I have the chance to do so.

The thing that excites me about postcrossing is the fact that I can see so many places that I wouldn't otherwise see through postcards. It's an amazing feeling to get mail (since I normally get, well, none), thus, I'm already looking forward receiving your card!

ANY card is more than welcome, I don't have any fixed preferences since I love to receive postcards. My favorite ones, however, include

* anime & manga (I'm a huge huge fan)
* cards that are somehow related to history or historical places of your country - I'm especially interested in Ancient Greece and Rome!
* cards that has books in them
* gay themes
* churches
* night views
* dark alleys
* light houses
* foggy sceneries
* wintry scenes
* scenery of Japan, or anything related to Japan
* foxes
* rabbits/bunnies
* my favorites
(* for Finns: perinteiset maisemakortit on ihania, nyt kun kotimaa on jäänyt taakse, sekä Kaj Stenvallit!)

The best part of postcards are the text you write on the back, so tell me anything you want! You can write about how your day went, the weather in your hometown, the squirrel that stole your lunch etc. so feel free to tell me anything.
