My names is Šárka, I am 23 years old. I come from the Czech Republic, my hometown is called Stříbro but I'm living in Prague because of my studies. My course is Deaf Studies - Czech Sign Language, Deaf culture, linguistics.

The northern side of the world is my second home! Summer 2015 (June-August) I was working with Icelandic horses in Iceland. I have no words to describe my experience, it is much more than being in love with a country. Soon (19 Jan 2016) I'm going to Norway (near Tromsø) to work with sled dogs for 2 weeks. :-) I was also an au-pair in Ireland.

In Prague I work in a library. I absolutely love my job as books are my passion. I am also in love with beautiful Mother Eart. Light spring breeze and the smell after autumn heavy rain make me happy. I care about protecting Nature and animals. Animals are my friends and I cannot imagine living without them.

I like to receive cards written, stamped and dated (time and weather would be amazing too). I enjoy the back side of a postcard as much as the front side, so please write as much as you can.

My favourite themes are (in no particular order):
- nature (anything)
- dogs: Border Collie, Husky, Irish Wolfhound, Hungarian Vizsla, working farm dogs, stray dogs, human + dog friendship
- Icelandic horses, cats, rats, wolves, sheep, cows, goats, reindeer, moose, foxes, birds, lynx, bears (wildlife in general)
- castles, old buildings, ancient monuments, archaeological sites/objects/artefacts (esp. Celtic)
- language connected, literature connected
- art work
- handmade
- hippie
- interesting people - famous, not famous, just any kind of people
- USA states
- Moomins, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Narnia, The Little Prince, Inge Löök, Greetings from
- fantasy: elves, dwarves, fairies, dragons, ents,...
- old ad cards, old map cards
- things typical for your country (including people in traditional costumes, traditional festivals, etc.)
- and so on, the list is endless, I will appreciate everything resembling a postcard :-)
If you don't have any of these, don't worry, I'll be very happy to see an interesting place from your country! The list is just to make your choice easier.
