Hi there! I'm a California girl, but not in the stereotypical Hollywood sense. I've lived all my life here, first in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, and now in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've been fortunate to have travelled to many countries in my life, and hope I will have the chance again someday. For now, my travels are limited to visiting my daughter who is starting her third year at Willamette University in Oregon.

I'm an avid reader, mainly of the classics, although I have developed a strong interest in European historical fiction over the past few years, especially that of the Tudor and Wars of the Roses eras. I'm also a writer, though I've yet to gather the courage to publish. Awfully personal thing, that.

I'm a little bit old-school, in that I prefer phone calls over texting or Internet chat, and real mail over email. I utilize the technology of today, but long for the intimacy of the communications of yesteryear. The discovery of this program gives me happiness to know that there are others who perhaps feel the same as I do.

I'm not sure what else to share here, so perhaps I'll come back after I've been involved for awhile and post an update. For now, I'm just happy to be here. ☺
