Hi, my name is Stephanie and I spend part of my year in the remote Iñupiaq village of Diomede, Alaska. Little Diomede Island is about 0.6 miles away from the international date line and 2.5 miles from the Russian island of Big Diomede. This is a fairly unique place with a minimal population, so I thought that others would enjoy receiving mail from the island.

ANY postcard from ANY country will thrill me. I would love to hear a tidbit about you, about your personal or country's culture/traditions, maybe the name of a favorite poem, a favorite quote, or most of all, one of your favorite songs/musician. (I can look it up on the internet :) One of my treasures is a mix I made from songs that my friends and family "gave" me for my birthday; maybe I can make another mix from songs I learn about through Postcrossing!
