Hi from Pittsburgh, PA! I'm Sue. I've been a member for over three years, & geeked out a little over hitting 100 postcards sent & received. I took a year’s hiatus for personal reasons but now I’m back. 😎

I do have a stack of cards to track down & make sure get registered. If you caught me right before I disappeared, I apologize. Life got crazy.

I love music, reading, cats, nature, kayaking, photography, art, & traveling.

I love and miss seeing live shows, Some of my faves were Wilco, Shakey Graves, Son Volt, the Growlers, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Josh Ritter, Neko Case, Jenny Lewis, Dawes, First Aid Kit, Frank Turner & the Bouncing Souls, Rodriguez, Neil Young, George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, & my beloved Pogues. The last live show I saw was Phish, for the first time ever. I hope live shows come back before IDLES gets too big to play my local small venue. They’re amazing.

Authors! Neil Gaiman, Somerset Maugham, JD Salinger, & Philip Pullman. Favorite comic books are The Unwritten, Bone, X-Men (check out Ed Piskor's Grand Design! He too is a Pittsburgher!), Sandman, Wicked + Divine, Scott Pilgrim, Daytripper, Hellblazer, Battle Royale, and DIE. The Ninth Doctor will always be my favorite, but it's not like I hate the others. I don't have a TV so I'm a little stunted in this area.

I love & miss traveling, but my cats & I now get to take care of a house, for 3.5 years now. I’ve driven to just about every small city in a 90 mile radius of Pgh this year instead. You know ghost signs? They’re the old painted adverts from the 30s & up that you sometimes see on old brick buildings. I love taking pictures of ghost signs. I have all kinds of plans for my garden next year.

I work with adults who live with intellectual issues & mental illness. I support them so they can live their best lives. I am also starting to pursue my license in social work so I can provide therapy and help facilitate depolarization discussions here in the US, in the next few weeks and months. Wish us all luck, compassion, willpower and determination, please. We need all the good vibes and help we can get.
