Hi!

In 2011 moved nearly 2,000 miles to live and (eventually) go to graduate school in another part of my country. I lived in Colorado for 31 years, and most of it was in my hometown of Fort Collins. I love Fort Collins and Colorado, but I am excited to be here in Massachusetts.

Right now I am working as an aide in a special education classroom. I absolutely love what I am doing, even if it does not pay very well.

In my spare time I am a Roman re-enactor, which means I dress up like a 1st century A.D. Roman woman and show people what it was like to live as a woman back then. I am also a genealogist, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The DAR is for any and all women over the age of 18 who can prove that at least one of their direct ancestors (great-grandfather or great-grandfather) gave service (either military, money, or help) to the American cause during the Revolutionary War (1775-1783).

During the summers I take day trips to visit places all over New England (Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). If you are interested in a certain place in my area and would like a postcard from there, I'd love to swap with you!

I enjoy getting postcards of all kinds, and I would love to learn how to say hello in your native language and something about your country and about you.

I like to share all of the postcards I receive with my students, so please make sure they are OK for kids to see. They don't get many postcards other than the ones I bring in, so any kind you send will be loved and talked about a lot!
