Hello Postcrossers! I’m Evan, and I live in the southwest of England, next to lots of farms and the beautiful Dartmoor. I love Postcrossing, because I love having a connection to the big wide world.

If you could, please write something in your language and it’s translation! A funny word or phrase, a joke, a swear word, or even just your favourite animal!

I’m 25 and I work with children aged 2-4 in a preschool, it’s my dream job. I’m also a writer, and I like to write fantasy stories with lots of magic and wonderful creatures.

I love mythology, history and stories from around the world. I love gods and goddesses, creatures like dragons, elves, mermaids, trolls, etc. If you have any folk stories from your country or region, I’d love to hear about them! My favourite folk stories are from Ireland, Scotland and Wales; but I also love Norse, Greek, Roman and Slavic mythology.

I’m perfectly happy with any kinds of postcards, but especially:
• Art of any kinds - classical, modern, abstract, even really weird stuff!
• Animals of any kinds, but I love cats most of all
• Tourist destinations or beautiful sights from your country or local area
• Mythological creatures or people from your country or local area
• I don’t mind religious cards, if you want to send them!
• Soviet/Communist posters or art
• Historical gay/LGBT posters or art
• Bright and colourful things, like flowers or candies
• Fantasy worlds like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Earthsea, Narnia, Discworld, etc (But please no Harry Potter)

I’m happy to receive little extra gifts in envelopes, or just a card itself, but please write more than just “Happy Postcrossing!” Tell me your favourite animal, or a fun fact about you, or your favourite place to visit? If you could speak any language, what would you choose? If you could time travel to any year, where would you go and why? Etc, etc…

If you have children, I would love a hand-drawn picture from them!

My hobbies are writing stories and poetry, drawing pictures and maps, learning languages (currently learning French and Welsh), and playing music (I play the piano, accordion, harmonica and ocarina). I also play D&D and videogames, and I love pokemon & the Legend of Zelda a lot.

I have three lovely cats that I adore: Indie, Jasper and Nell. If you have cats I’d love a picture of drawing of them!
