I have two cats, Harvey and Krita, I love to knit, I love to read, I sometimes go running, and I watch lots of movies. Eventually, I hope to own a lake-worthy sailboat, a small greenhouse, and a great big cushy couch and a wall projector for knitting-and-a-movie time.

I also enjoy writing and want to expand the ways I do this.

My favorite architect is Antoni Gaudí, my favorite painter is Chaim Soutine, and I dream of circumnavigating the Mediterranean in a sailboat someday. I also love thinking about what my dreams mean so I write them down; I have done this for a couple of years. It's like a kind of language all its own that your brain makes up to communicate with you, and I think it can be a great guide to living your best life.

I think sculpture gardens are SO neat. I especially love "Last Conversation Piece" by Juan Muñoz, which is currently at the Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C.

Lately, I am trying to keep up with the news and world events, so please tell me about what's going on in your town, city, country, or part of the world that you think is important. We're all in this together, right? I also want to learn French and practice my Spanish so anyone who wants a pen pal is welcome to reach out to me. I prefer regular snail mail; I know email is fast and convenient but the world moves too fast for me and I want to slow my life down in some areas, like this one.
