Hello Postcrossing Friends,

I am eager to learn about you and the place you call home.

I live in Washington State on an island called Fox Island. I can see Mt. Rainier from my house. I frequently see deer in my yard and occasionally orca whales swimming in Puget Sound.

I adore vintage things, especially soda fountains, postcards, china sets, and fabric. I have an old holiday card collection passed down to me from my grandmother. Some cards are over 100 years old. I love historical fiction, TV, and print. I have been known to binge-watch crime/spy shows and always look for a new series. I also enjoy podcasts; send any my way if you have a favorite. I love lettering and fonts and enjoy spending time in stationery stores.

If I had to change careers, I would own a candy store, a tea shop, or a stationary store. I can't decide which one is more appealing! I love wrapping paper, cards, pens, ribbons, and anything paper-related.

My family and I like to travel. We've been to Costa Rica, Scotland, England, Ireland, Australia, and Mexico, and our son is touring Nepal. I also hope to travel to the 50 states and national parks.

My picture is of our 8-year-old border collie Rosie. She's feisty and silly and always makes us laugh with her shenanigans.
