About Nita...

Hi & Hej,
I am a retired grandmother of four, 3 boys and 1 girl!! They are the light of my life. I live within 15 minutes of them, so I see them as often as I can. I love to watch them play their sports activities and be with them for other types of events and holidays.

I had a career as a clerical worker for several companys but the most enjoyable one I spent 30 years with Ford Motor Co. at St Louis Assembly Plant. I began as a data processing keypunch operator and finished as an administrative assistant for the Plant Manager. Retirement came in 2001 and enjoying it immensely!

I have recently moved back from Florida to be closer to my grandchildren. I left several friends in Florida, so I do travel there often.

My travels have taken me to every state with the exception of New England (the states past New York) and Alaska, to the Eastern and Western Caribbean by way of cruising, Mexico and Canada. My favorite travel destination is Hawaii!!

I live in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area, so needless to say, I am a St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan. I like to think that I am their "Number "1" Fan!!

St. Louis is a great place to live and lots of stuff to do. We are famous for having the St. Louis Arch (Gateway to the West), St. Louis Zoo, Botannical gardens, Science Center and Planetarium, museums etc. It will be cold in the winter and hot in the summer, while spring and autumn is a mixture of temps while it's changing seasons between the hot and cold of summer and winter. Sometimes you'll experience snow one day and 80 degree fahrenheit temps the next, no kidding!!! lol

If there are any Swedish speaking Post Crossers, please send me a message in Swedish. My great grandmother and great grandfather traveled from Sweden to the United States in the late 1800's. I have a book written in Swedish by my great grandmother Olson on their travels to this country. In more recent years, it was translated to English and printed. I am proud of my Swedish heritage.

Postcards I would enjoy receiving:
Pictorials of your country
Pics of your leader in your country
Famous people from your country
Animals/sea life from your country
Landmarks in your country
Beach scenes
Sports
Hobbys
Christmas greetings (Nov. & Dec.)
Birthday postcards for May

Looking forward to Post Crossing!! And wondering where the post cards will come from.

No Direct Swaps, please.

Thank you, &
Tack sa mycket,
Nita
