I am a polar philatelist, collecting polar related items, Arctic and Antarctic. I'm especially interested in items posted from tourist cruises or expeditions from islands such as those in the Arctic, postcards of ships, and photos of research or scientific facilities. While I am especially looking for items from Nordkapp, Svalbard, Norway, Spitsbergen, etc., I welcome ANY kind of card you have available-something about where you live or whatever.

I have also just recently began a collection of items from Vatican City, including stamps, postcards and First Day Covers, and I am hoping to receive some cards from members in Italy who might be able to mail something to me from the Vatican (in order to receive a Vatican postmark on the item).

Cards that I send out will usually be postmarked with my Mailer's Postmark Permit, which is a way that postal customers in the US can postmark their own outgoing mail and it is uniquely identified just to me; no one else can use it.
