Hey! I'm Melissa, I'm 35 and have been living in Richmond VA for over 10 years now (born in the state of New York and grew up in West Virginia). I love to travel (I've spent 6 weeks in Mexico, 3 weeks in Russia, spent a weeks vacation in the Mediterranean, have been to the Philippines, honeymoon in Bora Bora and Moorea, and have been numerous places around the US). I hope to visit many many more places around the world before I die!

I love this idea of sending and receiving postcards from around the world! It's such a neat way to connect with people!!

Some cards I would like to receive:
- I'm a structural engineer, so postcards of famous (or just pretty) bridges or buildings in your country would be great
- Anything pertaining to your country
- I'm a huge "TV nerd" and very much like Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead, Harry Potter, Stranger Things, American Horror Story
- Funny/cute/whimsical illustrated cards
- Retro or kitschy cards
- If you're from the states, a card about your city or state would be cool (I like the "Americana" type cards

And if you could, include a little message about yourself, or your country, or maybe a favorite quote or saying. If your language/alphabet uses different characters, writing your name and maybe a greeting in those characters would be really cool! Also, I'd rather not have postcards in envelopes. I like the stamps and the writing on the postcard itself :)
